THE ART OF DINING

3pm – 8pm, 22 October Hornsby Mall

Where art, live music and food collide

Hornsby Shire Council and Westfield Hornsby enliven Hornsby Mall for a day of local cuisine, Sydney’s best musicians, live arts, free junk jewellery workshops and a few extra surprises.

Food and Drink

Celebrating the diversity of our local cuisine, Hornsby Mall will transform into a marketplace of flavours and sounds in this inaugural foodie event.

Stalls will showcase custom menus from well-known locals such as Shores, Rustic Plate and Olive Bar and Grill. You can also sample the best of international fare with House of Canton, Infuzions, Sofrito, and Fritz Weiners.

Wash it all down with drinks from Top Juice and the Top Shelf Mobile Bar Service serving wine and craft beer. To find out more about the food line up, visit the Westfield Hornsby website.

Live music

Taking the stage will be some of Sydney’s best up-and-coming musicians.

Equal parts raw and enchanting, sultry Sydney songstress Thandi Phoenix will prove why she is one of Australia’s most promising RnB/electronic artists, recently topping Spotify’s viral chart and making Triple J’s full rotation.

With an infectious, rhythmic sensibility to rival the very best, and humour to spare, Cuzn will make your hips shake and your heart flutter. Groove along to Marvell – a singer/song writing duo who defy categorisation with their unique bluesy-rock sound and radio-friendly pop hooks. Discover the freshest local music with pulse pop from La Vif and jam artists Lambrou Bros.

Live arts

gaiarhythm

Filling the streets will be live arts for the whole family.

Kids can make their own jewellery through re-use at a free workshop from Reverse Garbage.

See every day kitchen items come to life for a music performance by Gaia Rhythm that will get your heart thumping. Learn about food etiquette in a hilarious performance from Jetpack Theatre Collective. Marvel at our roving artworks – or hang around for our surprise guest who has been wowing audiences across Australia.
