EBB AND FLOW

1 – 13 November
Wallarobba Arts and Cultural Centre

An exhibition of contemporary fibre arts from Untethered.

Ebb and flow explores social and environmental issues under this theme through various mediums including hand and machine stitch, felt, print, dye, weave, wirework and more. The exhibition contains an inspiring array of hangings, wearable and sculptural pieces revealing the diversity of work being done in the fibre arts.

Untethered was formed in 2014 by members of ATASDA (Australian Textile Arts & Surface Design Association), seeking to challenge the perceived boundaries of textile and fibre art through the exhibition of contemporary and innovative work.
