An afternoon garden party for all ages at beautifully restored heritage building and grounds of Wallarobba Arts and Cultural Centre, to celebrate Hornsby’s unique areas of historical and environmental heritage. Featuring exhibitions, live entertainment and the presentation of the annual Hornsby Shire Council Heritage Awards.

Starring Gramophone Man – a regular at the likes of Sydney Festival, Gramophone Man plays original shellac 78′s from the 20′s, 30′s and 40′s on the genuine His Masters Voice portable gramophones on his steam powered mobile DJ rig.

Just like old times – historical groups from Hornsby Shire provide a glimpse into life in times past.

Hornsby Shire Historical Society demonstrates how dirty socks were cleaned before machines, how to write with an ink fountain; and pastimes of the past – what families did for entertainment before iPhones with ring toss, croquet, and group games for families on the hour every hour.

Discover your family history with Hornsby Shire Family History Group, Hornsby’s own answer to Who Do You Think You Are? Learn to trace your family tree, no matter where in the world it branches out to.
